Barrett – This stone was erected by Thomas Barrett in memory of his father and brother – Christopher Barrett died December the 6th 1787 aged 62 years. Matthew died October 26th 1787 aged 27 years.

Bennett – Here lieth the body of Patrick Bennett in memory of Philip Bennett who died 4th August  … and of his mother, Elizabeth Bennett, who died 14th June 1800 aged 21 years. And Thomas Bennett, who died October 1824 aged 51 years.

Bennett – In memory of John Bennett who departed this life on the 9 …. 1748 aged 94. Also for Mary…

Binet – Here lieth the body of Mary Binet … Paul Lee who died April 30th 1831 aged 38 years. Lord have mercy on her.

Bond – In memory of our loving father, Philip Bond, who departed this life 1st July 1911. Erected by his loving sons as a token of respect.

Brady – This stone was erected by Bryan Brady Esq. of Stonefield, in memory of his father and mother, for him and his posterity. Anno Domini 1800.

Brady – Erected to the memory of John Brady of Girley and his children. The Rev. Bryan Brady PP of Kilskyre and Ballinlough. Philip, Thomas and Edward and their posterity. AD 1826.

Branegin – Here lieth the body of Mary Branegin, who died July 10th 1784 aged 12. Erected by her father, Richard Branegin for him and his posterity.

Brooks – Erected by their sorrowing children to the memory of Patrick Brooks, Crossakiel, who died 15th June 1887 aged 78 years. Also his beloved wife, Bridget, who died 2nd July 1886 and their daughter, Bridget, who died 13th January 1878 aged 13 years.  Also their daughter-in-law, Mary, beloved wife of James Brooks, Crossakiel, who died on 28th June 1893 aged 30 years. And her daughter, Katie, who died 13th August 1910 aged 21 years.

Clarke – Memento Mortis. Erected by Thomas Clarke in memory of his beloved father, Philip Clarke, who departed this life on May 11th 1834 aged 89 years.

Clinton – Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on the soul of Richard Clinton, who died 23 Janaury 1913 and of his wife, Joan, who died 30 January 1923.

Connell – In loving memory of James Connell, Hartstown, Kilskyre, died 3rd March 1941. His wife, Bridget, died 20th October 1941. Their sons, Patrick died 14 March 1974, Thomas died 11th July 1976. John died 17 March 1979. Also James died 31st July 1946. Their daughter, Bridget, died 1st March 1954, buried in England. Anne Connell died 27th May 1990.

Connell – Of your charity pray for the soul of James Connell, Hartstown, who died 20th November 1921. Also his son, Richard, who died 18 June 1913. His wife, Mary, died 27 June 1931. And their son, John, died 24 September 1936.

Connell – This monument was erected by Thomas Connell, Kilskyre, to perpetuate the memory of his wife, June Connell, who departed this life, March 17th 1812. For him and his posterity.

Darby – Erected by William Darby, in memory of his beloved brother, Peter Darby, died 10 .. 1842 aged 66 years. His mother, Anne, died 18 October 184? aged 58 years. His son, James, died 20th June 1869 aged 17 years. Also his wife, Bridget Darby, died 15 April 1870 aged 42 years.

Donaldson – Of your charity pray for the soul of Mary Donaldson, who died  9 January 1901 aged 63 years.

Donaldson – Pray for the soul of the Honourable Charlotte Agnes Mary Donaldson of Hartstown, Clonmellon, widow of Colonel Donaldson, and youngest daughter of Viscount Gormanston, who departed this life the 18 April 1934 aged 83 years. RIP.

Farrelly – Erected by Peter Farrelly of Moymet, in memory of his father, Michael Farrelly, who died September 1820 aged … and his mother, Catherine Farrelly, who died in January 1828 aged 74 years. Also three of his brothers, Brian, Pat and Michael Farrelly.

Farrelly – Erected by Thomas Farrelly of Hartstown, in memory of his father, James, who died December 1840 aged 78 years. And his mother, Mary, died June 1866 aged 82 years. His brother, Michael, died September 1882 aged 72 years. Christopher Farrelly 1861 – 1937.

Finagan – Erected by Thomas Finagan in memory of his father, James Finegan, who died March 6th 1788 aged 61 years. And his mother, Margaret, died 1793 aged … Here lieth the body of the said Thomas Finagan, late of Parkgate Street, in the City of Dublin, who died January 17th 1809 aged 49. This inscription was done by direction of Elizabeth Finagan, his disconsolate widow in testimony of the eternal love for her departed husband. Requiescant in Pace.

Fitzsimons – Pray for the soul of Edmund Fitzsimons who died 8ber 17th 1741 aged 50 years. Also for James Fitzsimons deceased August 6th 1745 aged 19 years.

Fitzsimmons – This stone was erected by Terence Fitzsimmons  (Bol?)town to perpetuate the memory of his father, mother and posterity.

Flesh – Erected by Mary Flesh, in loving memory of her brother, Edward Flesh, who died 28th December 1917 aged 59 years. His father, John, died 4th December 1884 aged 84 years and his mother, Anne, died 8th May 1898 aged 89 years. Also her brother, James, died 12th March 1893 aged 51 years.

Fletcher – In loving memory of the Fletcher family, Edward, Mary, John, Brigid, Margaret, Thomas, James and Joseph of Springville. Erected by Mary who died in 1851. RIP.

Fox – In memory of James Fox who died 16th November 1869 aged 72 years. His father, Richard Fox, who died 3rd March 1842 aged 80 years. Also his son, Richard Fox, died 10th November 1845 aged 9 years. His nephew, Richard Fox, who died 3rd January 1867 aged 32 years. His sister, Margaret, who died 20th May 1874 aged 60 years.

Gaynor – Erected by Owen Gaynor in memory of his father, Patrick Gaynor, Higginstown, in the parish of Athboy, who departed this life December 24th 1813 aged 76 years. Also his mother, Mary Gaynor, alias Bennett, departed this life, January 4th 1793 aged 32 years.
And his sister, Eleanor Gaynor, departed this life in her minority, September 18th 1796. O’Lord have mercy on their souls. Amen.

Henery – This monument was erected by Bryan Henery for him and his posterity. Here lieth the body of Patrick Henery, who departed this life September 30th 1771 aged 48.

Henry – Erected by Patrick Henry in memory of his father, Patrick Henry, who died 31 December 1892. Also his mother, Catherine, who died 2nd August 1896. Also his brother, Lawrence and aunts, Rose Glannon and Julia Fagan and her husband, Thomas Fagan. Mrs Bridget Henry died 29 January 1940 aged 55. Patrick died 12 December 1927 aged 49. RIP.

Higgins – In loving memory of Patrick Higgins of Sylvan Park who departed this life on 25th February 1901 aged 55 years. And of his parents, brothers, sisters. Also of his loving wife, Anne, who departed this life on 20th May 1936 aged 85 years.

Higgins – In memory of my dear husband, James Higgins, of Sylvan Park, who died 8th August 1917. And his parents, Patrick Higgins, who died 19th March 1898 and Margaret Higgins who died in December 1900. Erected by his loving wife, Mary Higgins. On whose soul Sweet Jesus have mercy.  

Hopkins – This stone was erected by Anne Hopkins in memory of her beloved husband, Matthew Hopkins of Kells, who departed this life on January 20th 1865. Also her son, Patrick, who died January 6th 1839 aged 10 years. Also John who died April 16th 1855 aged 32 years. Together with 6 of her children who died young.

Mc Antire – Have mercy O’Lord on the soul of James McAntire, who departed this life on the 17 April 1822 aged 61 years. Also his son, Peter McAntire, who departed this life November 12 1821 aged 24 years. Also his brother, James McAntire, who departed this life 13 April 1834 aged 23 years. This monument was erected by John McAntire of Killallon, in memory of his father and beloved brothers.

McCabe – Pray for the soul of Bridget McCabe, Balrath, died 6th May 1945. Mother, Elizabeth McCabe, (nee Nelson, Enach, Lisduff), died 29th September 1946. Father, Owen McCabe, died 12 August 1939. RIP.

McCormack – Erected by Annie McCormack in memory of her loving son, Johnie, who died 11th October 1892 aged 10 years.

McGinn – In affectionate remembrance of James McGinn of Kilskyre, who died 20th November 1902 aged 70 years. Also his eldest son, John, died May 1891 aged 33 years. Also Mary McGinn, wife of the above, who died June 1906 aged 68 years.

McGuinness – Pray for the soul of Christopher McGuinness died August 28th 1891 aged 60 years. And of his son, Thomas, died March 28th 1892 aged 19 years. William McGuinness departed this life on the 23rd of May 1826 aged 40 years. Laurence McGuinness departed this life 1789 aged 40 years. Erected by Brigid McGuinness, wife to the above.

McKeon – This stone was erected by Thomas McKeon in memory of his father, Edward McKeon, who died August the 4th 1812 aged 87 years. Also his brother, Joseph McKeon, who died April the 4th 1814 aged 27 years. Requiescant in pace.

Maguire – Pray for the soul of Thomas Maguire who died October the 1st 1752 aged 27 years.

Malone – Here lieth the body of William Malone, aged 88 years, who died 29 September … Judith, his wife, aged 76 years, who died 4 January 1767. Edmond Malone aged … who died the  .. of March 1778. This stone was erected by Philip.

Marley – This monument was erected AD 1799 by Edward Marley for him and his sons viz John and James and their posterity. Also in memory of his wife, Mary Marley alias Guilsenan .. Feb.

Newman – Erected by Mary Newman of Kilskier to commemorate the memory of her mother, brother, Patt Molloy and deceased friends.

Nugent – Of your charity pray for the soul of Sir John Nugent, Bart. , of Ballinlough Castle. His remains rest here in this old family vault. He attached himself early in life for the services of Austria and his fidelity and military talents raised him and many of his distinguished relatives to high rank. He had the dignity of Count of the Holy Roman Empire and was Chamberlain of the Emperor Francis the First. He loved Truth, Justice and Honour and left to his beloved children unsullied the many virtues which he inherited from a long line of illustrious Catholic ancestors. His happy tenantry even found in him, a kind and generous landlord. As a magistrate he knew how to temper mercy with justice. To the poor in their hour of need he was a benefactor and friend. His devoted and afflicted wife raises this monument as a trifling mark of her undying attachment and intense sorry for her departed husband.

Nugent – Pray for the soul of Sir Hugh Joseph Nugent Bart. Eldest son of Sir John Nugent Bart. He died on 23 October 1863 in his 18th year. RIP.

Nugent – Letitia, Lady Nugent, died 20 March 1895 aged 78 years. RIP.

Nugent – John Nicholas Nugent died 12 September 1901 aged 53 years. RIP.

O’Brien – Erected in loving memory of John O’Brien by his sorrowing family. Died March 6th 1885 aged 76 years.

O’Farrell – The Roman Catholic inhabitants of the Parish of Kilskyre have, in testimony of their gratitude, erected this monument to the memory of The Rev. James O’Farrell, the Parish Priest, who died universally regretted on the 8th day of July AD 1797.

O’Neill – This stone was erected by Daniel and Pat O’Neill in memory of their father, Patrick O’Neill, who died February 12th 1761 aged 36 years. And their mother, Mary O’Neill, alias Doolan, who died February 2nd 1770 aged 56 years. And their brother, John O’Neill, who died June 10th 1770 aged 35 years.

O’Reilly – In loving memory of Richard O’Reilly, Gracefield Road, Blackrock, Dublin, late of Robinstown House, died 3rd August 1918. Also of Richard O’Reilly, who died 18th March. And mother, Margaret O’Reilly, died 18th March 1918. And his sister, Annie Agnes, who died 26th November 1889 aged 20.

Plunkett –  Festina Lente. Here lieth the body of Thomas Plunkett deceased March 1697 aged 67 years. George Plunkett of Clare erected this monument to commemorate his posterity. Anno Domini 1741.
