Boylan – This stone was erected AD 1800 by Patrick Boylan of Hilltown in memory of his father, Nicholas Boylan. Also of his mother, Mary Boylan, and her posterity. This stone likewise records the name, Catherine Boylan, of … of Drogheda, who departed this life on the 12th day of November 1817 in the 42nd year of her age, whose body lieth under this humble but grateful tribute of affection paid by her afflicted husband, Thomas Boylan.

Boylan – This stone was erected by John Boylan, in memory of his father, Nicholas Boylan, late of Moorechurch, who departed this life April 4th in the year of Our Lord 1814. And of his posterity.

Boylan – Erected AD 1815 by John Boylan of Mickanstown in memory of his father and mother. Also his brother, Mathew, late of Clintstown.

Boylan – Of your charity pray for the soul of Thomas Boylan of Hilltown, died 17th January 1875. His wife, Charlotte Mary, died 12th May 1915. Their son, Thomas died 23rd December 1926. His wife, Cecelia Mary, died 8th December 1957. Their son, Edward Thomas Arthur George died 24th September 1959. Anne Boylan died 1877.

Boylan – Sacred to the memory of Mr. John Boylan of Moorchurch, who died 2nd April 1865 in the 95th year of his age. Also in memory of his beloved wife, Catherine, who died 22nd February 1864 in the 63rd year of her age. Also in memory of their daughter, Mariann, who died 7th of June 1859 in the 22nd year of her age. Also in memory of their son, Patrick, who died 7 of May 1869 in the 26th year of his age. And to the inexpressible grief of his sorrowing brother and sister, Roger and Helena, who caused this tome to be erected.

Boylan – In loving memory of Annie Boylan, Sarsfieldstown, died 6 October 1985 aged 75. Her husband, John, died 11 March 1995 aged 78 years. Rest in Peace.

Byrne – Erected by Patrick Byrne of Sarsfieldstown for him and his posterity. Where lie the remains of his father, James Byrne, who departed this life 25th of December 1782 aged 55 years. Also his sister, Catherine, died the 1st of May 1790 aged 16. And also 2 of his brothers who died young. Also his sons, James and Patrick Byrne, who died 1821. Also his wife, Anne Byrne, who died 1828. Requiescat in Pace. Amen.

Their son, John, died 19 December 1979 (Interred in England) Their daughters, Mary, died 10 February 1981. Bridget died 1 March 1996. RIP.

Calvey – In loving memory of Edward Calvey, Moorchurch, died 12 April 1991 aged 77. His daughter, Mary, died 12 October 1963 aged 5 months. His wife, Teresa, died 27 December 1993 aged 72. Loved in life, never forgotten in death.

Carroll – Erected by Michael Carroll of Dunnicarney for him and his posterity. Here lie two of his children … Carroll died January the 21st 1799 aged 20 years. And Catherine Carroll died September the 10th 181? Aged 27 years.

Carry – Erected by Thomas Carry, Minnistown, in memory of his daughter, Kate Kennedy, who died 11 November 1908. And Bridget, who died 17 September 1909. The above named Thomas who died 15 August 1914. His daughter, Julia Cantwell, who died May 1919. And his wife, Mary Anne, who died 9 February 1939. RIP.

Carton – Cherished memories of our dear parents, Tom Carton, Rose Cottage, Whitecross, died 27th April 1953. Josephine Carton died 18th July 1956. Gone but not forgotten.

Carton – Treasured memories of a devoted husband, Frank Carton, died 9 December 1993. Rest in Peace.

Caufield – 1777. This burial place belongs to Thomas Caufield of Damanstown. Here lies 1 of his children. Also his son, Peter Caufield, who died 15 August 1856 aged 85. And his wife, Mary, aged 90 years who died 1 January 1864.

Clarke – In loving memory of Michael Clarke, Clintstown, Stamullen, died 12th November 1978 aged 78 years. Rest in Peace.

Clear– This stone was erected by Joshua Clear-luner of Lisdoran. Here lieth the body of his son, Robert Clear, who departed this life the 8th of May 1770 aged 5 years.

Clegg – Erected by John and William Clegg of Julianstown, in memory of their father, William, who died in October 1809 aged 74 years. Also their mother, Mary, who died in May 1817 aged 78 years. Also two sons of the above named William Clegg. The former aged 6 years, the latter died April 4 aged 10 years.

Clegg – In loving memory of Maisie Vincent and Ruby Clegg. RIP.

Clegg – Erected by Mary P. Clegg, Keenogue, in memory of her husband, William, died 5th March 1958. The above, Mary P. Clegg, who died 5th September 1972. RIP.

Clenton – This stone and burial place belongs to James Clenton, Vitler, in Drogheda, where leis the body of four of his children. 1769. Here lies the body of Anne Crawley, daughter of the above named, who departed this life the 17th of May 1778 aged 23 years. Here also lieth the body of the above named, James, who departed this life the 15th July 1781….

Clinton – Erected 1801 by And ?rew Clinton in memory of his beloved wife, Margaret, who departed this life, April 3rd  aged 26 years. Also one of his children.

Clinton – Erected by Mr. William Clinton of Drogheda, 28 June 1819, wherein are interred three of his children, Mary, Anne, Henry and William, all of whom died young.

Coddington – Pray for the souls of James Coddington, Julianstown, who died 1854 and his son, Richard, who died 1854. Also his wife, Anne, who died March 19th  1889. And Bridget Mathews, sister of the above Anne, who died March 13th 1887. Also Mrs. Farnan, who died June 15th 1922. My Jesus Mercy. RIP. Erected by their daughter, Bridget Farnan.

Collier – In loving memory of Patrick Collier, Balloy, Stamullen, died 18 October 1986 aged 69. Rest in Peace.

Connell – Time Flys. This stone and burial place belongeth to Patrick Connell of Sheephouse, where also lieth the body of his wife, Ann Connell, alias Murphy, who departed this life January the 20th day 1778 aged 44 years. Also the body of John Connell who died May 24th 1790 aged 29 years.

Connell – Sacred to the memory of Hugh Connell of Sheephouse, who died 3rd
November 1834 aged 76 years. Also of his son, John Connell, who died 23rd February 1835 aged 38 years. And of his daughter-in-law, Mary Connell, who died 1st January 1841 aged 26 years. Also her husband, Hugh Connell, died 10th October 1870 aged 70 years. Also Mary Ann Connell died 14th January 1855 aged 16 years. Also the late Hugh Connell who died June 8th 1905 in his 70th year. This stone was erected by his son, Hugh Connell, as a token of gratitude. Requiescat in Pace. Amen.
